Pulp Painting and Collage: Sunday December 7, 2025

This workshop will go over the fundamentals of papermaking, with a focus on using pulp as a painting medium. 

Finely beaten cotton pulp is pigmented, and when mixed with methyl cellulose, creates a smooth paste very similar to paint. After couching sheets, participants  will experiment with different ways of pulp painting, layering, and mark making using pigmented pulp and various tools such as squeeze bottles, shaped deckles, brushes, and stencils.

Limited to 6 participants. This is a great class for any level.
