Exotic Fibers-Friday July 18, 2025

We will be using both eastern and western papermaking techniques to make paper from unusual fibers including locally grown fig and banana, as well as pineapple and hemp. This workshop covers fiber preparation, beating, sheet forming, pressing and drying. 

Workshop hours: 10 am - 4 pm with a break for lunch

Please note: This workshop will take place at Donna's studio, 1 mile away from Carriage House and all fiber preparation will take place outdoors in the garden.
