Great for making pulp (if you can't afford a Hollander beater) and for mixing pigments into pulp. All stainless steel blades are most efficient type for mixing just about anything, even semi-solid masses that need reconstituting into liquid form again. For best results, choose the size that fits the volume of material to be mixed. These blades fit into a standard variable speed, electric hand drill. Make sure that the shaft size of blade you order will fit your drill. For mixing into a 1-2 gallon container, we suggest using the 15" shaft that fits a 1/4" drill; for mixing into a 2-5 gallon container, we suggest using the 20" shaft that fits a 3/8" drill; for mixing into a 5-10 gallon container, we suggest using the 20" shaft that fits a 1/2" drill.
