This hemp has not been bleached and is a natural tan color. It is in sheet form and can be processed easily in a kitchen blender or other form of mixer if a Hollander beater is unavailable.

This industrial hemp, botanically known as cannabis sativa, is grown specifically for its strong fiber. After harvesting, it is retted until the bast fiber can be extracted. The fiber is then processed in a pulp mill in Spain where it is partially beaten and pressed into sheets called half stuff.


Hemp is in sheet form and sold by the pound. Each sheet measures 25" x 31" and weighs about .85 lbs. However we may cut sheets to fit more easily into boxes for shipping.
